Privacy policy

Overview

This describes how we collect and use information when you use Asset Ascent. Our goal is operational transparency; it is not legal advice — have qualified counsel finalize this document for production.

Information we collect

  • Account data: email address and credentials you provide through our authentication vendor (Supabase).
  • Workspace data: financial inputs and planning state you enter, stored in our database tied to your user id.
  • Billing data: if you subscribe, Stripe processes payment details; we receive subscription status and identifiers, not full card numbers.
  • Technical data: standard server and analytics data (such as truncated IP addresses, device or browser hints, timestamps) suitable for reliability and abuse prevention.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, process subscriptions, troubleshoot, comply with law, enforce our Terms, and improve product quality. We do not sell your workspace contents to advertisers.

Sharing & processors

We use infrastructure and service providers including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), hosting (such as Vercel), and related vendors. Their processing is governed by their policies and our agreements limited to delivering Asset Ascent.

Retention

Data is retained while your account remains active or as needed for legal obligations, dispute resolution, and backups — then deleted or anonymized in line with ordinary practice unless we must preserve longer under law.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to processing, or delete personal information. Contact us to exercise requests; we verify identity appropriately. You may stop using the service and request account closure.

Security

We rely on HTTPS, access controls aligned to your authenticated account (application-level isolation), and hosting providers’ security practices. No method of storage is perfectly secure; minimize sensitive information you choose to submit.

International transfers

Data may be processed in jurisdictions where vendors operate — including potentially the United States. If you are in regions with strict transfer rules, ensure contractual mechanisms you need are documented with counsel.
